My doctor was shocked...
This was my first and hopefully my last experience with kidney stones. I had severe pain on new years eve and had to go the hospital were they took x-rays. They found a single stone which the doctor measured at 6mm. The next day the urologist scheduled me for surgery the following week. In his opinion I had only a 5 percent chance of passing that size of kidney stone on my own but he did advise me to drink alot of fluids. After 5 days of lots of water the stone moved down from just below the left kidney to the entrance of the bladder but could not pass into my bladder (confirmed by another x-ray). In a last chance effort to avoid surgery I discovered this website and my prayers were answered. Within 12 hours of trying this remedy I could feel the stone pass into my bladder and within a week it passed completely. My doctor was shocked with this kidney stone remedy. I can't thank you to this great website enough for saving me the physical and emotional cost of surgery and I know this can help others. |
Within 3 hours my pain was gone...
“Hi my name is Brian Reynolds from Hesperia-California, I have suffered with kidney stones for 6 months. The pain would hit me when I least suspected it so I had my life and vacations on hold. I had an 8mm stone located just above the bladder on my left side. The pain I experienced was excruciating when an attack came. It felt like I was being stabbed in the back over and over again, along with the burning and sharp pains in my stomach and down my left leg. Aside from having an actual attack, daily life was always with discomfort and fear of when the next big one was coming again. I went to the emergency room one night I couldn't take it anymore and ended up with a $6,800.00 hospital bill. And the kidney stone still remained in me. I don't have health insurance mind you so I can't afford to play Dr.'s games and get no results. Out of desperation I told my wife "I am going on the internet to find a miracle cure." The first thing I came across was this site. We immediately went to the store and got the ingredients. Within 3 hours my pain was gone and I was passing gravel and sludge. I repeated the process 2 days later due to the size of my stone and passed more gravel and sludge with no pain. This is my 4th day living a normal pain free life again and it feels great! This remedy works. I'd like to go stand in front of my urologist's office and tell everybody about this website and get even with him for taking so much of my money paying for a visit. Once again, Thank You to this great website Kidney Stone for help me, overcome the problem. |

Mildred Baena
Mildred Baena, 50, is said to have fallen pregnant with her son, who is now aged around 14, while working for the former California governor and his wife as a housekeeper.
A joint investigation by RadarOnline and Star magazine in the U.S. led to the naming of the woman.
'She is the one,' a source told the website.
Photos posted online by Baena, known as Patty, show her and a young boy. She claims on a social networking site to be 'single' and 'dating or searching for a serious relationship'. Baena also describes herself as a 'proud parent'.
The New York Times did not name Baena, but reports that she was pregnant with her son at the same time Maria Shriver was expecting the youngest of her four children, Christopher, who is 13.
Claims: Tammy Tousignant was also said to have had a lovechild with the former California governor
Baena finally gave up her job in January after 20 years in their service. Her son is said to have been an 'occasional presence' at the family's home.
According to website TMZ she told friends they would have unprotected sex during the day at Schwarzenegger's house.
Baena made $1,200 a week according to the website and 'was treated well by generous Schwarzenegger' once he found out that he had fathered the boy, who by then was a toddler.
She now lives in a 4-bedroom house with a pool, several hours outside of LA with the boy and her three other children.
Schwarzenegger told his wife about the child after he left office in January - leading to the couple's separation.
'This is a painful and heartbreaking time,' Shriver said yesterday.
'As a mother, my concern is for the children. I ask for compassion, respect and privacy as my children and I try to rebuild our lives and heal. I will have no further comment.'
Shriver and the Terminator star have four children together; Katherine, 21, Christina, 19, Patrick, 17, and Christopher, 13.
Patrick tweeted yesterday: 'Some days you feel like sh*t, some days you want to quit and just be normal for a bit, yet I love my family till death do us apart. #family.'
He later changed his onscreen name to Patrick Shriver, from Schwarzenegger. His 21-year-old sister, Katherine Schwarzenegger, followed later in the day.
'This is definitely not easy but I appreciate your love and support as i begin to heal and move forward in life,' she said. 'I will always love my family!'
Earlier in the day, a number of websites claimed that another woman Tammy Tousignant had also had a lovechild with Schwarzenegger.
A former flight attendant on the actor's private plane, she yesterday denied that her son Tanner was his.
The boy is now 22. In a Facebook message yesterday, he wrote: 'I'm not his son.... don't waist your time. it was just a stupid story made up 8 years ago.'

Don Lemon
“I think it would be great if everybody could be out. But it’s such a personal choice," he says.
CNN anchor Don Lemon reveals in his new memoir, Transparent, that he is gay.
"I think it would be great if everybody could be out,” he says in an interview with the New York Times. “But it’s such a personal choice. People have to do it at their own speed. I respect that. I do have to say that the more people who come out, the better it is for everyone, certainly for the Tyler Clementis of the world.”
Clementis is the Rutgers University student who jumped off New York City's George Washington Bridge after a sexual encounter with another male in his dorm room was taped by fellow students and broadcast online.
“I think if I had seen more people like me who are out and proud, it wouldn’t have taken me 45 years to say it, to walk in the truth,” Lemon said.
Still, it wasn't easy for Lemon to open up about his sexuality.
“I’m scared. I’m talking about something that people might shun me for, ostracize me for," he told the Times.
He notes there could be ramifications for his TV career, as well as race issues.
“It’s quite different for an African-American male,” he said. “It’s about the worst thing you can be in black culture. You’re taught you have to be a man; you have to be masculine. In the black community they think you can pray the gay away.”
“You’re afraid that black women will say the same things they do about how black men should be dating black women," he went on. “I guess this makes me a double minority now.”
Lemon was approached by a publisher to write a book several years ago after speaking on a panel called "The Black Man in the Age of Obama."
“It was supposed to be a little pamphlet,” he said. “You know: say your prayers; have a good, hearty handshake; say good morning to your boss.”
But as he was writing, he realized he wanted to tell his whole story, including how he was molested as a child. Later, he had second thoughts about revealing so many personal details, but then decided to go forward with his deeply personal memoir.
“But as I started to read it back, I said, no, leave it,” he told the Times. “I abhor hypocrisy. I think if you’re going to be in the business of news, and telling people the truth, of trying to shed light in dark places, then you’ve got to be honest. You’ve got to have the same rules for yourself as you do for everyone else.”
CNN has booked him Monday on daytime show CNN Newsroom and Joy Behar's show on sister channel HLN to promote his new book.

How to Identify Signs of Viral Infection
A viral infection is caused by a virus. Most people have had a virus at one time or another. A viral infection can produce a multitude of different symptoms. A viral infection cannot be cured with antibiotics. Bacterial infections do respond to antibiotics. A bacterial infection is typically characterized by pain, swelling and redness but it can often be difficult to distinguish between a bacterial and viral infection. Learn to identify the symptoms of a viral infection.
Instructions
1 Check your temperature. A fever is one of the first signs that your body has been invaded by a viral infection. Fever occurs as a result of the body's own defense system. The body temperature rises in an attempt to rid the body of the infection. Fever alone cannot be used to identify a viral infection since a fever can also occur with a bacterial infection which is why it is important to identify other symptoms as well.
2 Notice if diarrhea and/or vomiting are present. These are typical signs that a viral infection has invaded the gastrointestinal tract. It is important to replenish fluids when diarrhea and/or vomiting are present to prevent dehydration.
3 Observe whether a cough is present and if there is congestion. These are symptoms that often accompany a viral infection but determination of the presence of a viral infection should not be based on these signs alone as they often accompany other infections as well.
4 Notice whether a runny nose or sore throat are present. Such symptoms usually occur when infection is present. There may be a thick nasal discharge and swollen glands in the neck often accompany a sore throat.
5 Notice if headache and/or body aches are present. Muscle aches as well as headache often accompany a viral infection. Headache may occur with other conditions as well.
6 Keep in mind that one of these symptoms alone does not necessarily signify the presence of a viral infection. It is also important to note that a viral infection may produce a variety of various symptoms. A combination of the symptoms mentioned would most likely indicate a viral infection. At times it may be difficult even for a physician to differentiate between a viral and bacterial infection. Laboratory tests may be necessary to confirm a proper diagnosis. If you experience any of the symptoms mentioned above it is likely that you have an viral infection. See your physician for proper diagnosis and treatment.
Symptoms of a Grumbling Appendix
Grumbling appendix is an old term used to describe chronic appendicitis. Chronic appendicitis shares many qualities with acute appendicitis, which is the more common of the two conditions. Both involve the inflammation of the vermiform appendix resulting in pain and discomfort in the lower right quadrant of the abdomen. The difference between the two is that acute appendicitis requires immediate medical intervention and removal of the appendix, whereas chronic appendicitis does not. Rather than the sudden, excruciating pain associated with acute appendix problems, grumbling appendix pains occur gradually.
1. Identification of Chronic Appendicitis
o Doctors are able to identify grumbling appendix by using a combination of approaches. First, the doctor localizes the patient's pain, and checks that it is at or around the site of the appendix. The pain for grumbling appendix is chronic and mild to moderate in nature, not severe as found in acute appendicitis. Other common symptoms include nausea and vomiting, but they are not always present. The physical exam involves the doctor pushing on the appendix to ensure that is the source, and the patient does not have the severe rebound pain associated with acute appendicitis. Next, the doctor refers the patient to have an abdominal computer tomography (CT) scan. The radiologist's report for chronic appendicitis will contain information about any abnormalities of the appendix. These abnormalities could include swelling and abnormalities of the appendix's contents. The contents of the appendix appear darker on the CT than the tissue of the outside of the appendix. Any findings that indicate acute appendicitis will rule out chronic appendicitis as the cause.
Time Frame
o Unlike acute appendicitis, chronic appendicitis does not come on suddenly and continue to get worse. Often, a grumbling appendix pain worsens at a slow rate. It can take weeks for a grumbling appendix to cause problems worrisome enough to visit a doctor.
Considerations
o Chronic appendicitis often presents with features close enough to acute appendicitis that surgery is the doctor's recommendation. Although the symptoms are milder, doctors don't want to take the chance that it is acute appendicitis that is slow-developing.
Prevention and Solution
o Chronic appendicitis is usually treated with a powerful antibiotic to fight the infection in the appendix. Often, the course of antibiotics is prolonged and the dosage extremely high to prevent progression to acute appendicitis. Another treatment for chronic appendicitis is surgical removal. This prevents any further pain, as well as the risk associated with possible future acute attacks.
Warning
o A person with any sudden or severe lower right quadrant pain needs to receive medical care immediately. While chronic appendicitis is not a medical emergency, acute appendicitis is an emergency and can cause death if left untreated. Since there is a risk of developing acute appendicitis from chronic appendicitis, go over all the risks with a physician and discuss the best course of treatment with that in mind. Treatment is necessary to avoid progression to acute appendicitis.
First Signs of Throat Cancer
Throat cancer occurs in the hollow tube that begins behind the roof of the mouth and the nose, merges into the windpipe, and turns into the esophagus in the lower neck. Most throat cancers are caused by environmental factors, such as drinking alcohol and using tobacco products, which makes this type of cancer preventable. However, because both patients and doctors often miss the first signs of throat cancer, diagnosis does not typically take place until the cancer has reached an advanced stage. Because of this, it is important for everyone to become aware of the first signs of throat cancer and to seek medical attention for any symptoms as soon as possible.
1. Identification
o The first signs of throat cancer vary considerably, which makes the disease difficult to detect and diagnose in early stages. The most commonly experienced early symptoms include a persistent sore throat, a lump in the neck, difficulty swallowing, ear or neck pain, and a change in voice. Raspy speech or hoarseness of voice is typically the first presenting symptom that causes sufferers to seek medical attention, but many people erroneously blame this symptom on a viral infection or allergies. In early stages, throat cancer may appear as white patches or ulcers inside the throat, but some cases are asymptomatic.
Diagnosis
o Once the first signs of throat cancer have become apparent, thorough examination is necessary to receive an accurate diagnosis by a physician. Throat cancer patients should be seen by an oncologist who specializes in throat cancer, as 10 to 15 percent of those with throat cancer also have a second primary cancer somewhere in their body. Diagnosis generally follows a battery of tests and a complete physical exam.
If the throat cancer is located in the upper section of the throat, diagnosis can usually be made by looking into the mouth. If the cancer is located in the lower part of the throat, an endoscopy is typically needed. Once the cancer is visualized, cells are removed and sent to a lab for analysis. The margins of the cancer are then tattooed to assist in later removal, and scans, such as CT, MRI, ultrasound and PET, are performed to determine if the cancer has spread to nearby lymph nodes. Staging of the cancer is done only after testing has been completed.
Prevention
o Prevention of throat cancer involves avoiding smoking and smokeless tobacco products, drinking alcohol in moderation and receiving regular examinations by a doctor. Treatment of throat cancer depends on how early the cancer is detected, on the stage of the disease and on the location of the primary cancer. A combination of surgery and radiation is generally required to treat early stages of throat cancer, with advanced stages being more difficult to treat and requiring chemotherapy. Because the first signs of throat cancer are so difficult to detect, more than 70 percent of throat cancer patients have advanced cancers upon diagnosis.
Misconceptions
o Nonsmokers often believe they are immune to developing throat cancer because of their low-risk status. This often leads to late detection and poor prognosis. Even nonsmokers must report any possible signs and symptoms of throat cancer to their doctor immediately, as throat cancer quickly spreads to surrounding tissue. If symptoms such as hoarseness or sore throat persist for more than two weeks, even when these symptoms follow a viral or bacterial infection, they should be investigated and a biopsy should be performed if another cause is not obvious.
Significance
o Throat cancer is a significant health threat, but both patients and doctors easily overlook the first signs of throat cancer. Estimates from the American Cancer Society show that roughly 24,000 people in the United States are diagnosed with some stage of throat cancer every year, with half of those cancers occurring in the pharynx. Early detection is crucial to a good prognosis, as throat cancer often quickly spreads to surrounding tissue or metastasizes to other regions of the body. Early detection enables greater treatment options, which makes it essential for anyone at risk of developing throat cancer to be aware of the early signs and symptoms of the disease.
Silver Price
Silver, like other precious metals, may be used as an investment. For more than four thousand years, silver has been regarded as a form of money and store of value. However, since the end of the silver standard, silver has lost its role as legal tender in the United States. In 2009, the main demand resulted from industrial applications (40%), jewellery, bullion coins and exchange-traded products.

Who Is Herman Cain?
The outspoken corporate executive and Tea Party favorite explains why he could be the second black president.
In his 2005 book, They Think You're Stupid: Why Democrats Lost Your Vote and What Republicans Must Do to Keep It, Herman Cain commiserates with voters who have grown weary of Washington politics. Now he's petitioning that same electorate to support his (potential) bid to become the second black president.
So, who is he? The self-described ABC -- that's American Black Conservative -- is a former CEO of the Godfather's Pizza chain. He has also served stints as an Atlanta radio talk show host, a mathematician for the Department of the Navy and chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. So far Cain, 65, is the only prospective GOP candidate to form a presidential exploratory committee.
While he's far from a household name, Cain's advocacy of smaller government, steep reductions in corporate taxes and the so-called FairTax plan, which would replace the federal tax code with a national consumption tax on retail sales, has made him a Tea Party favorite. He's gotten additional buzz over his penchant for making provocative, sometimes outrageous, statements, particularly where President Obama is concerned.
Although Cain has no political experience aside from a failed 2004 run for the U.S. Senate in Georgia, he is confident that his strong business background makes up for it. His experience rescuing Godfather's Pizza from bankruptcy, for example, has informed his plan for America's economic growth. And he says that his slow but steady grassroots ground game just might leave mainstream candidates eating his dust.
In a wide-ranging interview with The Root, Cain talks about race, policy and why he thinks you shouldn't rule out his chances of going head-to-head with Obama.
The Root: You made headlines this week with your comments about President Obama potentially hurting your chances of being elected: "Don't condemn me because the first black [president] was bad." In which ways do you think Obama is a bad president?
Herman Cain: Let's make sure we say his policies are bad. First, his economic policies have failed. We can't spend our way to prosperity. We have spent nearly a trillion dollars, and this economy has not been stimulated. He has promoted programs like Cash for Clunkers, which was a dismal failure, yet he tries to pretend now like it didn't happen. Second, he has broken a lot of promises that he made about transparency, for example, and about unemployment coming down.
The biggest failure, in my opinion, is the forced passage of the health care reform legislation. It was supposed to bring down costs, but it will not because it is not well-structured to begin with. It was supposed to increase accessibility, but it has not. When you have 1,000 companies ask for special exception waivers before it's fully rolled out, and they get those waivers, then something is terribly wrong with this legislation. I call that bad policy and bad leadership.
TR: At the Tea Party Patriots summit in Phoenix last month, you won the presidential live straw poll. Some critics have dismissed that as tokenism, claiming that Tea Party members only picked you as a foil for racism accusations, or that the Tea Party just wants its own version of a black candidate. What do you make of your support from the Tea Party and the skepticism surrounding it?

Pippa Middleton
It was the day Royal Maid of Honour Pippa Middleton dazzled the world in a dress that left very little to the imagination . . . but it emerged that she may have kept something secret after all.
For it seems that Carole and Michael’s second daughter is engaged in all but name to her City broker boyfriend Alex Loudon.
The couple have stayed silent about the future of their relationship for fear of detracting attention from William and Kate.
If rumours of an official announcement later this year are true, they will cause widespread disappointment, for it seems that in the wake of ‘That Dress’, Pippa could have her pick of suitors.
The sensational fluid white column made by Sarah Burton at Alexander McQueen was an unusual choice both for its bridal colour and its curve-enhancing cling.
In an act of sisterly generosity, Kate must have sanctioned it in the full knowledge that it would showcase Pippa’s fabulous figure, deep tan and glossy hair to perfection on the world stage.
That it did. The second she stepped out on to the red carpet outside Westminster Abbey, shepherding Kate’s four young bridesmaids and two pageboys, a new global media star – Her Royal Hotness, as Pippa was instantly nicknamed – was born.
She trod a carefully calculated line between sheer class and risque sex appeal – and brought a nation’s men to their knees.
The Duke of Edinburgh and Prince Harry, who flirtatiously walked her arm-in-arm back down the aisle after the wedding ceremony, were two of her most immediate admirers in the Abbey. Outside, her appearance ignited the blogosphere and almost led to the crash of Twitter. In America and Australia too, Pippa was declared a knockout.
Those in the Abbey who watched her arrival thought just one thing – that Pippa looked smoking-hot in what was probably the kind of dress Kate would have chosen if she had been a Bucklebury bride and not marrying into the House of Windsor.
But the revelation of the day was not just what a wonderful rear view Pippa offers – her bottom now has its own internet appreciation society, which already had 54,000 members last night – it was her polish, her self-possession, her grace and her diligence towards her sister.
Just as the fraternal bonds between William and Harry were plain to see, the Middleton girls seemed to have a powerful, loving link, with Pippa the best supporting actress in her sister’s romantic drama.
Much has been written about Kate, already the subject of several biographies, but what do we know of Pippa? Philippa Charlotte Middleton is Carole and Michael Middleton’s second daughter (she is 27 to Kate’s 29) and their middle child. She was not even at school when her parents founded their company, Party Pieces, on which they would build the family’s financial and social success.
She lived the first ten years of her life in a four-bedroom Victorian villa in Bradfield Southend, Berkshire, before the family moved in 1995 to the mansion where they remain today, two miles away in the village of Bucklebury.
Like her sister, Pippa attended Marlborough College in Wiltshire before following in her footsteps to a Scottish university. But while Kate chose St Andrews, where she met her Prince, Pippa selected the party town of Edinburgh.
She shared a home with Lord Edward Innes-Ker, a son of the Duke of Roxburgh (Floors Castle in the Borders), and Earl Percy, heir to the Duke of Northumberland (Alnwick Castle in Northumberland).
A fellow undergraduate summed her up thus: ‘Pippa arrived knowing no one and made it her business to leave knowing everyone.’ A prime example is her surprising friendship with Prince Harry’s on-off girlfriend Chelsy Davy. Said a source: ‘They are very good friends and when Chelsy is in London, they often go out together. They are much closer than Chelsy and Kate.
‘At the beginning it used to upset Kate – she felt left out. But at heart Pippa is a party girl and she likesto have fun, so she and Chelsy had some really good nights out together, which Chelsy and Kate have never actually done.’
After graduation, Pippa carved a career that would combine the two significant interests in her life – ¬partying and networking. She went to work for events planner Table Talk, where her ferocious organis¬ational skills and attention to detail combined with her bulging contacts book quickly elevated her to the capital’s A-list.
In 2008 she was named Number One Society Singleton by Tatler magazine, ahead of models, actresses, rock stars and heiresses. She even eclipsed her new brother-in-law’s cousin Princess Eugenie.
But her single status was merely a pause between well-heeled and well-connected boyfriends. They include Jonathan ‘JJ’ Jardine Paterson, an heir to the Hong Kong Jardine Matheson fortune, Scottish aristocrat Billy More Nesbitt and diamond heir Simon Youngman.
A year ago she began dating Alex Loudon, 30, who, crucially, has been a friend of Prince William since Eton. His growing importance in her life was underlined when it was revealed that he had attended Kate’s confirmation service just weeks before her wedding and by his presence in the front row of the Middletons’ family seats at the Abbey.
A friend revealed: ‘Pippa has been busy planning her sister’s wedding so she and Alex are biding their time. But they are very close and may well be the next couple to make an announcement once Royal Wedding fever has died down.
‘They have been virtually living together in London, and Pippa is a regular visitor to his family’s stately home in Kent, Olantigh Towers. Alex can’t see himself spending his future with anyone else and Pippa, although very picky, thinks Alex ticks all the right boxes – he has the family pile in the country, a smart job in London and he is very handsome.’
He must have been the envy of many as a million watched Pippa’s carriage ride and balcony appearance in her show-stopping frock and two billion more viewed her on television. The bias-cut satin column skimmed her lissom frame, the cowl neck giving a hint of decolletage and slim fit across her bottom accentuating what is now considered by legions of fans to be her best feature. She wore lily-of-the-valley in her hair and ¬floral diamond earrings, a wedding gift commissioned by her parents.
Without the talents of Sarah Burton – and the subtle corsetry and invisible underpinnings required for modesty – and her own sense of style, the dress could have been a designer disaster. But instead, it was a triumph. At no stage did Pippa upstage the bride, but she certainly looked as though she was on the same team.
The question must be: What can she do to trump it? Will she indeed settle for married life and a career as a party planner now she has emerged as half of the world’s best-known sister act?
She could learn a lesson from one of the other great dynastic marriages of modern history, that of Jacqueline Bouvier to John F. Kennedy in Rhode Island in 1953. Then Jackie’s younger sister Lee Radziwill – the glamorous party girl to her sister’s more demure and aloof first lady – was the much discussed matron of honour. Their sisterly dynamic generated the same kind of comment as Kate and Pippa’s today, and from it Lee went on to ¬construct a public profile, a career and a grand fortune.
While Pippa is far too classy to cash in, she is surely on the cusp of a kind of greatness of her own, albeit one begun by association. And just like her magnificent sister, she has proved beyond doubt that a girl doesn’t need blue blood to be a natural aristocrat.
Cool Science Projects for the Science Fair
I was under the impression they were supposed to be cool science projects, but I just could never get the hang of them. I feel so fortunate to have come across the secret to the coolest projects...
I can still vividly remember the look of disapointment on Bens face. It was my first try at planning a science fair project, but still I really upset my son. I sill feel sad about the whole thing.
It all went wrong and it was all my fault. If I hadn't thought I could be clever and get a free science project online, none of this would have happened. All that time spent planning and preparing, and still a complete faliure...
The free project I grabbed off the Internet was absolutely awful! It seemed that everything that could go wrong, went wrong. The water and salt speedily became insoluble, the balloons burst leaving my kitchen in a awful mess, and I'm not even gonna go into the price of the materials for the experiment.
Thats when the state of affairs elevated. Ok so considering my prior faliure, I went back on the internet and purchased a science package this time. What a complete waste of time and money! I paid $25 for the kit and it was completly useless, they gave us nothing of real value. Oh it was just awful! All they did give was details to a really boring science project and a list of materials adding up to another $40!
The other day I was reading thru a couple of articles on a site that I go to often, when I saw an advertisement. It read: Earn money for charity by writing an article about your experience's with science projects! So I emailed them and said: Hi, I saw your ad and would love to offer my experience and extend advice to other parentd. So here I am.

Now thats hard work, believe me!
But check this out - I recently found a great way to take the pain away. It puts us all in a unique position of being able to actually enjoy ourselves, whilst helping our kids learn science. And for me thats what these SCIENCEFAIRPROJECT should be about; associating fun with learning. You see, I never realized this, but these are the most important years of our child's life. Why? Because at this age they're minds are extremely susceptible to the emotions that they feel. All we need to do is increase that link between fun and learning and I'm told our kids are guaranteed to achieve more in later life; as they will grow up loving to learn.
What I found even more amazing was that in goes so much further than this. It is now believed that it has good effects in other parts of their lives as well. Not only will they become more acadmically active they will also become better in social situations. Wow!
A few weeks ago the time for preparation for the science fair finally arrived. My son came to me at the breakfast table and said, "Mom can we do a FUNSCIENCEPROJECT this year"? I told him I would make sure we do. Yet I had no idea how I would make it happen considering I could no longer rely on the internet! A couple of days past and I was really nervous. I couldn't find anything off line that looked as if it would actually work. And the idea of it going wrong again was eating me inside.
Well I was very impressed with the kit. It gave us the detailed explanation to a winning science project and it all worked out great!
Well, thats it, my search is over I have to say I was thoroughly disappointed with most of what I found, and I advice you to exercise extreme caution before investing time and money into a science project! Whatever you do, I wish you and your kid a fun and healthy year to come.

Fast and Easy Science Projects
It's a typical procrastinated Friday. Your child's school science project is due on Monday. You think to yourself, "I should probably get started on this..." You've only got a few days, so it has to be quick. But it had better be good, too!
These aren't easy to find! Quick science projects often don't meet the requirements of the teacher or the school hosting the science fair. Furthermore, these fast projects a lot of the time have enough content for your kid to learn at all from it. We know how you feel. As a four-child family, we've waited until the last minute to do a science project enough times to share a few.
Fortunately for you, good science experiments that are fast and easy DO exist.
- Find out your school's criteria for the project. Some teachers look for a demonstrative project that the child can present in front of his/her class. Some of the teachers only want a science report. And, every once in a while, scientific models or nature collections will be allowed. However, generally teachers ask for an experimental science project that follows the scientific method. (Getting confused looking at these terms? it's been a while since you heard them! Check out this free vocabulary guide for help!)
- Let your child make the decisions. They are the ones turning in the project, you know!
- Do some research on the topic. This may be the easiest way of figuring out what you need to be doing. Start with a list of potential experiments. Go ahead and discard the ones that are on advanced levels of chemistry.
- Check out the materials you'll need. Be careful with projects that require uncommon or expensive materials. There are plenty of experiments that require simple household items, or things readily available at a local supermarket.
- Look for an estimate of how long the project will take. If a project may take more time than two or three days, you should probably look again. The most convenient easy science project won't be longer than a few hours, so that if something goes wrong and you have to repeat, you'll easily be able to repeat. And, unfortunately for you, this happens.
Although an easy science project isn't always simple to get a hold of, you and your child can cooperate and find a project that is fast and do-able, but also a good learning experience and even enjoyable! So, check out MIDDLESCHOOLPROJECTS to get a winning, fast, easy, affordable, and FUN science project for your child now!
Science Projects Made Easy
Finding good answers to the challenging questions of today will require that we have the best young minds working on those answers. They need to have the best science education possible.
Good science education is very important for our country's future, including our national security. If our enemies were the first ones to develop new weapons, and we couldn't defend them we'd be in big trouble.
What is the best way to learn science? Maybe there's not just one "best way." Science projects and science experiments give crucial interactive experiences that help many children learn better.
A major university did a study about science courses and science majors a year ago. They found that 90 percent of college students abandon science as a major because of perceived poor teaching; and, of those who continue to study science, 74 percent of them think their science teaching is of bad quality.
This is not good news for science teachers. They are perceived as not doing a good job engaging the students and getting them involved. Not that it is easy to do so. Students need interactive learning to get the most out of science classes.
In today's world young people live with technology that has transformed their day to day lives. Watching videos on their cell phones, sending photographs and text messages through thin air -- teachers need to get to these students involved in different ways than before. Ironically the best way to engage science students is to use one of the oldest and most traditional ways of teaching science.
Science projects and science experiments need to become a part of everyday science curricula. Not just for students who participate in science fair projects which often are seen as extra-curricular. They require involvement of parents who often aren't available to help all the time. Projects need to be done in school, not at home.
That's why internet resources like the Science Projects Store are so valuable. This new website has a searchable database of 4,137 science project kits and over 5,000 science project books. This is a great science project resource that parents, students and teachers need to know about. (Please pass this article on to those who might be interested.)
On the Science Projects Store site you can search for any type of science project or experiment that exists. It has kits, books toys, games and accessories concerning:
1. Elementary school science projects 2. Math science projects 3. Winning science fair projects, 4. Fun experiments with science for children 5. Solar energy science projects 6. Who knows, this website may help students enjoy science education more than ever before, and inspire them to solve the major problems faced by the world today!
Help Kids Learn Maths The Fun Way
Maths or Mathematics is enjoyable. However, most children are afraid of it. It is not their fault. It is just that the way it is taught to them that they feel that maths is difficult.
However, Maths is the only subject which gives children the opportunity to explore deep, if they wish to, without any help. Internet is available to them to learn new concepts. However, they need to learn the basics in such a manner that they can build over it.
The beauty of maths is the you know it or you don't. You can't pretend that you know a concept. Children must be taught in a manner that they will remember the concepts for a long time. Do you know that parents actually spend lot of time on Google searching for math problems and worksheets. This is because practise makes one perfect. However, most children learn the concept well and are able to implement it, but forget them when they haven't solved problems of that type for some time.
This is because they haven't been taught in a way that they would enjoy and would want to remember. Brilliant students who love maths won't mind how it is taught to them. But students who are not inclined towards maths need to be taught in a unique manner that helps them enjoy learning maths. Not necessary they would want to make a career in Mathematics or Engineering, learning basic concept of Maths will help them increase their IQ and would improve their analytical and problem solving skills.
So, if your child does not enjoy maths try to get him interested by playing math games with him. He would not only enjoy it but will also learn. More resources about this just visit KIDSLEARNMATHS.

How to do Lightning Fast Math on your Head
Imagine how you would impress your boss and friends giving almost instantaneously answers to big math calculations while they were still grabbing their cell phones for that.
Do you need to trust the seller upon the change calculations when you buy something? Not so long ago I did because I was pretty embarrassed to make calculations using my fingers or paper for simple subtractions. The funny thing is that I always liked math: solving problems, equations and such, I even have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. But when it came to numbers the situation was pretty much different. I always had big trouble multiplying stuff like 13 x 29, or subtractions 421 from 217.
I really thought that I simple wasn't gifted enough or had some born deficiency in this kind of area. The turning point was when I found a law student, friend of mine which had outstanding speed and ease with calculations. It was amazed how he could make complicated math operations in day-to-day situations. I was very intrigued how could someone from the social sciences area be so good at this while I from the exact sciences was so terrible.
Of course I had to question him about this and so he revealed to me his "secret". Well, it turned out that he was no such genius, the thing is he used a technique for calculations with turn out to be a system called the Vedic System, which I didn't knew until then. I googled about it and found tons of materials trying to teach it. Some of the stuff was good but most of them was incomplete and lacked examples, some was so bad looking that passed no credibility at all.
Upon further googling I came across a short e-book which solved my problem, it's called "Fun with Figures" from Kenneth Williams and Murdo Macleod:
Fun with Figures e-book
The book is small, concise and very well designed. It has less than 80 pages and can be read in a weekend. It teaches in a clear manner with illustrations so that anyone can understand including kids. But what I really liked about it and made me buy it instead of the free Google material was the big number of examples. I've always though that they are what really makes the difference in education material and this one really made it good.

Although it's not free the price paid a lot from the time I wasted learning from poor and confusing materials.
After reading and practicing it's techniques I've vastly improved my math skills, and the funny thing is that people think I make fast calculations because I'm some sort of genius from the exact sciences area. Is a skill that very very few people have and will definitely make you distinguished.

How to do Simple Calculations in Your Head
Let's face it. Math is not everyone's favorite subject. Most people would rather use a calculator to figure out how much something costs with tax or they depend on the cashier and the cash register to determine how much chage they should get back. I'm not one of those people.
For as long as I can remember I have always been playing with numbers in my head. Now I don't have a doctorate in math or nuclear engineering or anything like that. I'm just your average guy who happens to like math and playing with numbers in his head. If I'm watching something on TV or listening to the radio and someone mentions a date that something was created, I immediately do the calculation in my head to figure out how many years that is. I'm probably not the only person who's like that but I'm guessing that there aren't many of us.
Let's begin with a small example:
93 + 48
Believe it or not this is really simple. The trick is to round one or both of the numbers up(or down) to a multiple of 10. This is because it's easier to add numbers that have a zero on the end. So going back to our example here the easiest solution is to add 7 to 93 to make it 100.
Our problem now becomes:
100 + 48 = 148
Now this is not the final answer. I have what I like to call "My Little Rule". Basically it states that whatever you do at the beginnig, you must do the opposite at the end and with the same amount. In this case what we did at the beginning was add 7 in order to make the addition easier. We must therefore subtract that same amount from the result above to get the answer.
148 - 7 = 141
Now you've probably heard of the phrase "There's more than one way to skin a cat". Why you would want to skin a cat or even have more than way to do it is beyond me but I digress. What that phrase means is that there's more than one way to solve a problem and math is no different. However for my examples I'm going to show what in my opinion is the easiest method.
Let's do another one but this time with three digits:
267 + 148
Now don't panic! For this one we'll use my divide and conquer method. This means that we'll break one of the numbers down into multiples of 10 so we'll have some zeros on the end and this will make adding a whole lot easier. Let's pick the second number, 148.
So now we have:
267 + 100 + 40 + 8
See how easier it becomes now? Adding 267 and 100 is easy.
267 + 100 = 367
To add 367 and 40, change 367 to a multiple of 10 by subtracting 7 and making it 360. Remember it's a lot easier to add numbers that end with a zero.
So now we have:
360 + 40 + 8 = 408
Now going back to "My Little Rule" at the top, we subtracted 7 at the beginning so we must add it back.
408 + 7 = 415
This might look like a lot of steps to do but when you practice doing it in your mind it's really fast after you get the hang of it. There are a lot more examples I can do here but that would make for an article the size of a book so I think I'll stop here for now. Hopefully you get the basic idea. I'll be writing more articles about doing math problems in your head so watch for them. You can also find more on my web site : LEARNMATHFAST.

Everything Human Anatomy - How To Learn Human Anatomy
If you want to learn human anatomy then this article will inspire you and show you a step by step method in order to become an expert on the field. Don't listen to anyone telling you that human anatomy is a knowledge than is unbelievably hard to acquire. As long as you make a passionate commitment to reach the goal you are on your way to become an expert.
On the first step, you have to decide if you are willing to commit yourself to the goal. If you feel a fire burning inside you every time someone brings up human anatomy then you are good to go. This step is important because you want to set a target you can accomplish. If you are not passionate enough about human anatomy then there's no reason to pursue this goal.
After deciding whether human anatomy is one of your passions you must be determined to study a lot in order to acquire the basics. And in order to do that you must get the right studying materials. You can buy a human anatomy book or visit a library to find information. I recommend searching for something really original with many images, written by professionals. There are a lot of quality books out there and the entire knowledge is pretty straight-forward so just pick something of quality.
Now that you've got the studying materials it's time to decide how to study. A proven way to go is to see human anatomy as a whole first. Human anatomy is entirely made up of systems: Skeletal, Muscular, Nervous, Circulatory, Respiratory and Urinary system. These systems count on each other and interact in many ways. Your smaller goal would be to study the connections between the systems. This is important because if you see the connection you are on your way to understand later how each system works.
In the next step you must pick the human anatomy system that excites you less and try to study every detail of it. By doing this you will create a feeling of anticipation until you study the system that excites you the most. Working this way, one system at a time, studying in detail and leaving the most exciting system last you've got many chances to keep the flame burning inside you. When studying, it would be wise to keep notes. You will come across many names and writing them down will help you memorize them. You can also add a brief description for each name. Also try to associate names with images. This is very mental and requires some skill but skills exist so you can acquire them.
If you successfully reach the last system and study it in detail then you should be able to tell what your knowledge level is. In order to do that you must take a human anatomy test. There are certain books which have questions in the end of each chapter to test what you have learned. Think about that when choosing the studying materials. Alternatively, you can search for -human anatomy tests- online. Testing is crucial because it's a chance to prove to yourself that you have reached a certain knowledge level and get a reward for all those endless hours of study.
Now that you've covered all the human anatomy systems and have successfully tested yourself proving that you have acquired certain knowledge, it's time to get back to the connections between the systems and then try to see human anatomy as a whole. You will not be returning to the starting point. You will be mastering the knowledge and conquering it as a whole. From know on it's your job to find a few hours every week (or everyday depending on your passion) to read about human anatomy. The internet can be your friend. Always have your eyes open for human anatomy tests, quizzes and competitions. Sign up to related newsletters, mailing lists or rss feeds that will keep you updated for human anatomy information.
Tip: You can buy a human body model for human anatomy learners. This is like the ones they have in schools and universities. You can find many of them with different levels of detail. Choose the one that fits you and go for it. If you don't want something like that in your house (which is highly unlikely since you are passionate about human anatomy) you can search for 3D human anatomy models online. You will find numerous websites (some of them free) offering this.
The simple, yet proven and effective method of learning human anatomy can be implemented by you too! It is a hard task but it's really worth the trouble if you are passionate. Thanks for reading this article and remember it may take you a year to learn human anatomy but it will take many years to master it.
